GOOD+.. overall condition, Good running condition. Stored in a
Garage...Original tires(no Checking),original seat, new grips,
aftermarket rear view mirrors,all other parts original.Missing one
reflector on front forks (Have two new ones not applied). rubber damper in left rear shock disintegrated of no consequence., Dent on right
rear of fuel tank, Fuel tank has been de rusted and treated,all
electronics work. Missing steering lock key.Comes with new battery and
manual and a few parts.
Bought in 1984 from high school friend with 350 miles on it.Road it in the 80's for about 18 months, two and from work. Again ten years later for a few months on trails. (The Low 2100 Miles) Otherwise it has been in my garage all its life with start and runs a couple of times a year for lubrication circulation.. Does show signs of age, ie, scratches, paint ware, some oily spots some bumps and bruises. but its all here with title, manuals, extra parts and new battery, They use to laugh at me at the Harley shop back in the day... now they want to buy it from me? Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.

Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
