2006 Ducati Super Sport 1000, 2006 DUCATI SS 1000DS SUPER-SPORT super rare bike in immaculate condition truly with only 3500miles. I never had one problem with the bike and is 100% cosmetic and technical condition. Stars even better than a modern Ducatis in cold mornings, new battery it needs nothing. Thu, 29 May 2014As a motorcycle manufacturer, you know you’ve made it big when animated animals want to ride your products. Such is the case with Ducati and its cameo appearance in the movie Madagascar 3. Admittedly, I have yet to see the third installment of the hugely popular movie series in which the gang of zoo animals gets stuck on an island, but I suppose the cameo will appeal to those moto-parents who were dragged to the theater by their kids.
Saltarelli Classic Ducati Collection Up for Auction
Tue, 17 Jan 2012One of the world’s largest private collections of Ducati motorcycles is going on the auction block. Former Ducati factory test rider, racer and dealer Carlo Saltarelli is selling his collection of classic motorcycles at RM Auction‘s biennial auction in Monaco on May 11-12 during the Grand Prix of Monaco Historique. Saltarelli’s collection includes 100 motorcycles including a 1970 ex-Works Ducati 450 Desmo Corsa which was featured in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.
EICMA 2012: Ducati Unveils Track-Oriented 1199 Panigale R for WSBK Homologation
Mon, 12 Nov 2012Ducati has unveiled a new R version of its 1199 Panigale, providing an upgraded version of the sportbike for World Superbike homologation. Unveiled at the 2012 EICMA Show, the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R is based on the S model but with lighter components, ABS standard, a higher-revving engine, an adjustable swingarm pivot and full race kit. The Panigale R’s 1198cc engine receives new titanium con-rods Ducati claims shaves 1.38 pounds off the overall weight.
