2009 Ducati Supe rbike 1198, 1 owner, Only 2,982mis This Superbike is a great example of Italian engineering. The engine is a high performance 1198cc 90' Twin V putting out 170hp @ 9,750 rev and 97 lbs of torque @ 8,000 rev. The transmission is a 6 gear mated with a dry clutch. With a dry weight of 277 pounds the bike will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (electronically limited). This bike is very fast and comfortable to ride. The Super bike was owned by a middle aged adult male with a passion for Italian speed machines. This is 1 of two bikes I was fortunate enough to aquire. As with all his toys it has been maticulously maintained at a local dealership and it shows. It has a recent battery, back seat and helmet. The bike looks like new and runs like new, never abused. 848 Challenge: Official race report, Snetterton 300
Mon, 28 May 2012Mike Edwards put a disappointing start to the season behind him with a win and a second place at Round Three of the Ducati 848 Challenge at the Snetterton BSB weekend. With a gritty ride to victory in Race One and a late charge to third in Race Two, Edwards (Ohlins @ P&H Motorcycles) managed to keep his championship hopes alive following a run of uncharacteristic crashes at the last two rounds. Edwards said before Race One that he was going for a “win it or bin it” attitude this weekend as he desperately needed to make up the points he missed out on at Assen.

The Kentucky Kid, Hayden, and Texas’ own Spies recently hit the COTA track on the new Ducati 1199 Panigale R for the sportbike’s press launch.
848 Challenge returns to Brands
Tue, 10 Apr 2012The Ducati 848 Challenge returns for another season of fast and furious action as the series opens this Easter weekend at Brands Hatch at the start of the British Superbike Championship. The 848 Challenge was the talk of the BSB paddock last year due to the close and exciting racing that transfixed audiences throughout the eight rounds as every one of the sixteen races went down to the wire. The successful format of the Ducati 848 Challenge continues with eight rounds and sixteen races, including six British Superbike rounds and two overseas rounds.
