2009 Ducati Supe rbike 1198, 1 owner, Only 2,982mis This Superbike is a great example of Italian engineering. The engine is a high performance 1198cc 90' Twin V putting out 170hp @ 9,750 rev and 97 lbs of torque @ 8,000 rev. The transmission is a 6 gear mated with a dry clutch. With a dry weight of 277 pounds the bike will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (electronically limited). This bike is very fast and comfortable to ride. The Super bike was owned by a middle aged adult male with a passion for Italian speed machines. This is 1 of two bikes I was fortunate enough to aquire. As with all his toys it has been maticulously maintained at a local dealership and it shows. It has a recent battery, back seat and helmet. The bike looks like new and runs like new, never abused. New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
New Spy Photo of Near-Complete 2013 Ducati Multistrada/Hyperstrada 848
Wed, 11 Jul 2012The latest spy photo of Ducati‘s upcoming 848-engined model continues to muddle the debate as to whether the new motorcycle is a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The new model appears to blend elements of the two existing bikes with the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° engine and an all-new frame. What will likely emerge is a new model with a couple of variations, a sport version and a touring version, This latest picture (the one shown below the jump has been tweaked for better contrast and a bit of sharpening) reveals the new side-mounted exhaust design and Ohlins suspension.
Ducati Teases New 2015 Scrambler

Ducati gave its factory workers in Bologna a sneak peak of the new Scrambler prototype, but the rest of us will have to settle for the teaser image above and a video. We’ve been waiting for Ducati to reveal its new Scrambler ever since the company registered for the trademark in April 2013.
