2009 Ducati Supe rbike 1198, 1 owner, Only 2,982mis This Superbike is a great example of Italian engineering. The engine is a high performance 1198cc 90' Twin V putting out 170hp @ 9,750 rev and 97 lbs of torque @ 8,000 rev. The transmission is a 6 gear mated with a dry clutch. With a dry weight of 277 pounds the bike will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (electronically limited). This bike is very fast and comfortable to ride. The Super bike was owned by a middle aged adult male with a passion for Italian speed machines. This is 1 of two bikes I was fortunate enough to aquire. As with all his toys it has been maticulously maintained at a local dealership and it shows. It has a recent battery, back seat and helmet. The bike looks like new and runs like new, never abused. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
