Ducati Superbike description

Mature owner. The bike was purchased new from Bow Cycle in Calgary Alberta Canada and has been maintained by dealer. The bike was purchased with an extended transferable warranty good until January 2019. The break in period was respected.

The bike was well looked after & not abused. It was never tracked, raced, dropped, or stunted. The front wheel never left the ground. It has been problem free.

The bike was purchased with the rear seat cowl option and grippier footpegs. The passenger foot pegs & passenger seat were never installed but are included with the purchase.

If you have read the reviews you know the bike handles like a dream. Most of the riding has been on the twisty roads in B.C. and the northwestern U.S. The bike is very very enjoyable and even reasonably comfortable on long rides (say 800 km / day several days in a row).

I am not looking to trade this bike. I was sure I would keep it uder 5 years which is why I opted for the extended warranty to give a second owner that extra comfort level.

If you are in the market for a Panigale and want to save some dollars over a new one, want a warranty, and NOT have to break it in this is a very good option.

The bike has one small mark on the tank from when it was trucked to the US for driving and a Ducati Monster touched it. Minor blemish.

The bike has a personalized Alberta plate "899" can be transferred to new owner for a fee. The bike is also for sale locally and may be sold at any time before the auction ends.

Thanks in advance for reading this ad. Low ballers or scammers please accept my apology for not responding. Serious inquires will be responded to in a timely fashion.  The buyer will be responsible for shipping however I will assist with arrangements.  Deposit of $500 required within 48 hours of auction close.

Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.

Go Inside the Ducati Museum with Google Maps

The Ducati Museum in Bologna is a popular attraction for motorcycle enthusiasts vacationing in Italy, but if you can’t make the trip, Google has an alternative. The Internet giant has added a virtual tour of the Ducati Museum to its popular Google Maps application, allowing anyone to “visit” the 9150 square-foot facility. To access the virtual tour, search for “Ducati Museum” or “Museo Ducati”, or by going to http://goo.gl/maps/jAHeL and zooming in to Street View mode.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
