Q&A With Nicky Hayden Inside Dainese D-store At Indy MotoGP
Wed, 14 Aug 2013The Dainese/AGV D-store in the Vendors Marketplace garages at the Indianapolis MotoGP is hosting a Q&A session with 2006 MotoGP World Champion, Nicky Haden, this Friday at 4:15 PM. Earlier Friday morning at the Pramac Ducati garage Dainese/AGV will unveil the custom Pista GP helmet, selected by Andrea Iannone, from hundreds of fan-submitted designs, to be used for the Indianapolis race weekend. Other events and signings will take place at the D-store which is open Friday 10 a.m.
Max Biaggi to Test Ben Spies’ Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Retired four-time 250cc Grand Prix Champion and two-time World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi will be returning to the track this week to ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at MotoGP test at Italy’s Mugello circuit. Biaggi will be riding in place of Pramac Racing‘s Ben Spies who continues to rehab his shoulder and pectoral muscle injury. With Spies’ on-going injury problems and a star like Biaggi on tap, some might hope this change may be a more permanent arrangement but Pramac is careful to state Biaggi will only be testing the Desmosedici with Ducati test team rider Michele Pirro continuing to race in Spies’ absence.
European Union Approves Audi Acquisition of Ducati
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The European Union has granted approval of Audi‘s acquisition of Ducati, removing any legal barriers to the sale. The approval was expected, but an official decision was nevertheless required before the transaction could proceed. The acquisition was announced in April but the deal was still subject to examination by anti-trust authorities.
