Ducati Superbike description
Up for sale is a 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale. The bike is in excellent condition with some very nice extras. The best feature is the upgraded ECU map with the termignoni exhaust. This is a must add on feature which gives the bike incredible sound. Also included are anodized aftermarket levers and grips. The seat has been replaced with a Ducati performance comfort seat. And an indoor 1199 motorcycle cover is also included, which is a $200 value! The tires only have approximately 400 miles on them. This bike is in great condition and runs like new. Buyer may pick up or I will deliver in a 100 mile radius for $100. There is no reserve and I will not ship the bike anywhere. Please email with any questions and good luck bidding!

Federico Sandi Loses Ducati 1199 Panigale Superstock 1000 Ride – Again
Thu, 03 May 2012For the second time this season, Superstock 1000 Cup racer Federico Sandi has lost his ride on a new Ducati 1199 Panigale race bike. Sandi was cut loose from Liberty Racing in March after the team decided to focus its resources on a four-rider World Superbike effort. The 22-year-old racer then landed with Althea Racing, the team that captured the 2011 Superstock 1000 Cup as well as the 2011 WSBK Championship with Carlos Checa.
Report: Ducati Sold to Audi for US$1.13 Billion
Tue, 17 Apr 2012Reuters is reporting Audi has reached a deal with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati for a price of 860 million euros (US$1.13 billion). Citing two unnamed sources familiar with the deal, Reuters reports the purchase price includes Ducati‘s debts, estimated by one of those sources at below 200 million euros (US$262.6 million). As previously reported, the deal will be officially announced April 18, ahead of the annual shareholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group.
Audi Finalizes Purchase of Ducati, Annoints Board of Directors
Thu, 19 Jul 2012Ducati is now officially property of Audi AG, with the German automaker finalizing its acquisition of the Italian motorcycle brand. The purchase was completed through Lamborghini S.p.A., another Audi property and part of the overall Volkswagen family. Rupert Stadler, chief executive officer of Audi AG, has been named president of Ducati‘s new board of directors.
