Hello folks, I am selling my mint 1199 ABS with 1950mi. I am the original owner, the first service and all after market parts installed @ Ferrcci. No stories here, I just don't have time to ride anymore. Note: The rims and rotors are powder coated anodized red with chrome underlay and pearl flake (bonehead performance PA $$) full 520 conversion in gold and black $$, pro bolt kit and bar ends all match, comfort seat - stitching matches as well. Ducati Multistrada will increase the "cubes"
Tue, 11 Jul 2017In the fall, at the EICMA Milan Motor Show, an updated tourenduro with an engine from the XDiavel muscle bike will appear in the beams of spotlights. According to preliminary data, the bike will replace the 1198.4cc L-twin Testastretta with a 1262cc Testastretta borrowed from the XDiavel. The difference in output between these two engines is negligible - with an identical power of 152 hp.
Report: Ducati Sold to Audi for US$1.13 Billion
Tue, 17 Apr 2012Reuters is reporting Audi has reached a deal with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati for a price of 860 million euros (US$1.13 billion). Citing two unnamed sources familiar with the deal, Reuters reports the purchase price includes Ducati‘s debts, estimated by one of those sources at below 200 million euros (US$262.6 million). As previously reported, the deal will be officially announced April 18, ahead of the annual shareholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group.
A real Monster of a bike
Wed, 13 Jun 2012The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.
