Ducati Superbike description

Bought from Cross Country Ducati in Metuchen, New Jersey in December.
600 Mile service performed at 650 miles.
Oil changed again @ 3500 miles.
New rear tire installed around 2,000 miles due to a bastard nail

Don't send me moron $15,000. I mean seriously? Some dweeb loser actually sent me a $15,000 "cash now" offer. LOL. Go take that and buy a used stocker base 2012

I'm not shipping this bike, you must come here in person and pay. I don't have a trailer to deliver, either.
Bike is located in zip code 07755 and has a $3500 Lien at my local Credit Union so you don't get the title until all funds have been deposited and cleared.

Since these photos were taken I've since had the new exhaust header and cylinder heat shields installed- they work great!

2013, White S, 5,600 approx miles (as of 9/1/13), great shape. Chain lubed every 200 miles.

When I bought the bike I purchased Tire and Wheel Insurance, I'm not sure if its transferable, but it may be.
Bike has a battery tender, and Gerbings heated clothing line hooked up to it.

Heres some of the goodies included that are installed on the bike:

1. DP Levers $460
2. DP Rearsets $1300
3. Lux Machine LED Indicator Blockoffs $200
4. CRG Arrow mirrors w/mounts $270
5. CompetitionWerkes Fender Eliminator $200
6. Rizoma Frame hole cap $150
7. DP Tall tinted Windscreen $200
8. DP Matte Carbon Clutch Cover $225
9. DP Carbon Ignition Switch Cover $200
10. DP Carbon Shock Cover  $220
11. DP Carbon Heel Guards  $150
12. DP Gas Tank Cover $220
13. DP Race Seat $270
14. DP Red Billet Oil Fill Plug $40
15. DP Carbon Tank Protector $58
16. Integrated Battery Charger $10
17. Integrated DC Car Charger $30
18. Integrated Gerbings Heated Clothing Line $30
19. DP Rearstand Included $250
$4,023 + in extras!
Would cost $28,018+ 1000 in Freight/setup + doc Fees and tax in any dealership. OTD This bike would run you $30,000+ even with Ducati's current deals running.

This is an absolutely fantastic deal for this bike. Truly one of the most personalized 1199's out there.

Aero kit, passenger seat, passenger pegs, second key and manual are included as well. Ran strictly on Sunoco 93. Hasn't had stalling or starting issues.

The bad:
Theres a tiny scratch on the dash and inside the dash area. Thats it. Bike doesn't have the smoking or starting issues some 1199's have been announced to have.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

Ducati Makes Progress as Sepang MotoGP Test Concludes

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

The good news is Ducati managed to trim another second off of Valentino Rossi‘s Day Two test time. The bad news is the Doctor is still over a second behind Casey Stoner. Of course, considering how much faster Stoner has been compared with everyone else at the MotoGP test in Sepang, that’s nothing to be ashamed of.
