Ducati Superbike description

2012 Ducati 848 EVO Corse Special Edition

Here is my beloved Ducati 848 Evo Corse SE. I am the 2nd owner having bought the bike around 18 months ago with 2000 miles on the clock.

The bike is in excellent condition and has had all performance modifications you would want, including:

Full Termignoni Exhaust System (inc ECU upgrade)
ASV shorty levers (both brake and clutch)
Oberon Clutch master cylinder
Shorai LFX Lightweight Lithium-Iron Battery (including remote charging cable)
Pro-grips
Single Seat Pillion Cover

Bike is fitted with Michelin Pilot Power 3's with plenty of life left in them.

The bike has been maintained to the highest standard with dealer servicing, 3 monthly oil/filter changes (twins need frequent oil changes!) and chain cleaning and oiling after every ride. This is the third Ducati I have owned and so don't cut corners when it comes to maintaining my bikes.

The bike has always been kept in a cool, clean garage and has never been ridden in the rain.

The only negatives are a stain on the screen (pictured), a slight scratch on the rear pillion seat section (happened when I let a friend ride the bike and he did not clear the back with his foot when getting off) and the lower right fairing has a whole in it. I have no idea when this happened and there is no damage to anything behind just the plastics. I have taken pictures so you can see the details. I am trying to find a replacement fairing and will hopefully have this repaired before any sale. If not, I will reduce the sale price by $100 to compensate for a new panel.

I have the clean title in hand and the bike is fully paid for.

Any questions then please just ask.

Ducati DVT – Desmodromic Valves Meet Variable Valve Timing?

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Ducati sent out invitations to motorcycle media about an unveiling on Oct. 15 for something cryptically called “DVT“. No other details were provided, though the likely assumption is Ducati’s version of a variable valve timing system.

What's Bayliss up to these days?

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

Troy Bayliss might not be in the limelight these days, but the ex-World Superbike champ has been busy down under testing Aussie V8s for the Jack Daniel's Racing Holden team. Bayliss has made it quite clear that he wants to race V8s as the next stage of his racing career. He allegedly turned down a multi-million dollar contract from Ducati when he decided to quit WSB.
