Absolutely pristine Panigale S Tricolore. Always garaged. No dings, scrapes, scratches or marks.
First oil change has been done. Comes with factory Termignoni slip on race exhaust (uninstalled, new in original box.) Broken in properly by experienced rider, former motorcycle journalist who knows and appreciates machinery. Reason for selling? Health issues. Also will be selling some other very fine motorcycles from my large collection, all exceptionally low mileage, including a ZX14, Ducati Diana Mark III (museum quality,) Yamaha FZR400 (900 original miles,) Honda GT650 (900 original miles,) Bimota YB10, Norton Combat Commando, Harley V-Rod Destroyer (never run,) Aprilia 125 (12 miles,) Honda CB400F and Kawasaki GPz550. The Ducati is in Point Roberts, Washington, which requires a short trip through Canada. I can deliver the motorcycle to Blaine, Washington. If you decide to fly and ride home -- I've done it many times -- I can pick you up at the Vancouver, BC airport, or Bellingham, WA. No lowball offers, and buyers with any negative feedback or zero feedback will not be accepted without prior approval. 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes Racing Debut
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale made its worldwide racing debut this past weekend, winning a race in Spain and scoring a pole position and a pair of podium finishes in South Africa. Ducati‘s latest sportbike isn’t due to make its international racing debut until the Superstock 1000 Cup race, April 1 at Italy’s Imola circuit, but the 1199 has already found success in domestic racing. Ismael Bonilla (pictured above) of EMS Competicion scored the Panigale’s first win in the opening race of the Castellano-Manchego Championship in Spain at the Albacete circuit last weekend.
Audi-Ducati Discussions No Longer Exclusive
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Audi‘s window for exclusive negotiation rights with Ducati has closed, but the German automaker is still expected to announce the acquisition of the Italian motorcycle brand this week. Volkswagen-owned Audi had exclusive rights to discuss acquiring Ducati until April 15, and though other suitors may now begin negotiations, Audi remains the front-runner. Last week, Reuters reported a deal could be announced as soon as April 18, the day before the Volkswagen Group’s annual shareholder meeting.
