Ducati Superbike description

2012 Ducati Diavel in excellent condition. It started life as a standard black but some browsing on this site found this bike to get Illemberger matte carbon fiber. This bike has been garage kept and has not experienced any cracking or yellowing. Everything except the belly pan and headlight shroud have been converted.

The bike has 6900 miles and I am still on the original set of tires. Needless to say, the bike was gently ridden and cared for.

I have added a few other performance and comfort items.

PCv with dual channel auto tuner.
O2 optimizer. All PCv and accessories have been installed and tuned by Dynojet in Las Vegas.

Compwerkes stainless steel slip on exhaust

Large foam grips for added hand comfort.

CRG roll a click levers

Compwerkes fender eliminator

Ducati Touring Seat

DDM HID lowbeam kit.

80s ducati lettering in red.

Like mentioned, the bike is in great condition. I am the first owner and the bike still has an existing warranty until February 2014.

Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

2024 Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono Review – First Ride

Wed, 14 Feb 2024

Watch out KTM – Ducati’s coming for you Photo: Alex Photo KTM, consider yourself on watch because Ducati is coming for you, and it’s coming for you with this: the 2024 Hypermotard 698 Mono. One look and you can tell the Hyper Mono is aimed squarely at the KTM 690 SMC R, the supermoto inspiration is obvious to all, and now there’s suddenly an arms race in a category that’s been one-sided for years. Sure, the street-legal supermoto scene may be a small niche, but we all know it’s a recipe for getting your license taken away in no time – all with a giant smile on your face.

Back when GPs were really good: Part 2

Tue, 01 Jan 2013

Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
