Ducati Superbike description
Greetings prospective buyers,
I'm currently selling a 2011 Ducati 848 Evo. This has been a great bike to me and it is definitely a head turner/ eye popper. It pains me to let it go (trust me, I have drooled over getting one of these), but I have my other love that is taking up my time....and I don't mean my girlfriend. I mean my CBR1100 Blackbird. I have no room for 2 motorcycles. I'm using the proceeds, and that of my current four-wheel vehicle (which is also for sale), to purchase a nice new reliable car. This all being said, this bike has plenty of beautiful upgrades. The specs of the bike: -Mileage 5610 - 849 cc (51.8 cu in) 90° V-twin engine -Vendor Eliminator Kit (Rear end) -K&N Air Filter -Ducati Quick Shift Module -GP Shiftier (Reverse Shiftier) -Carbon Fiber Crowl (And pieces around the engine) -Carbon Fiber Wheels (Very Expensive)(Track Advantage) -Brand New Tires Needs: New brake pads....that's it. Cheap and easy fix. In addition, I have the manual (digital), spare key, and a complete maintenance file log. It has been meticulously taken care of! Not a signal scratch or dent (Excellent condition/showroom condition). Trust me, you won't find a bike like this very often with an owner like me. It has been well taken care of and has plenty of goodies on it to show off with. The asking price is $10,600 or BEST OFFER. Thank you for your consideration, I'm looking forward in making a deal with you. |

A real Monster of a bike
Wed, 13 Jun 2012The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.
Filippo Preziosi Resigns from Ducati
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Former General Manager of Ducati Corse Filippo Preziosi has resigned from the company, ending his 19-year career with the Italian manufacturer. Preziosi led Ducati‘s racing program for the last decade including its lone MotoGP championship in 2007, but the 44-year-old engineer also carries a lot of the blame for Ducati’s recent struggles including the doomed Valentino Rossi era. Preziosi held the position of GM of Ducati Corse until last November when he was replaced with former BMW Superbike manager Bernhard Gobmeier.
Back when GPs were really good: Part 2
Tue, 01 Jan 2013Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
