Ducati Superbike description

Hi Everyone,

Up for sale is a 2011 Ducati 848 EVO with less than 1900 miles! The bike works 100% and needs absolutely nothing. This is expected since it has barely been broken in. It is practically a brand new bike. Not only is this the EVO, but it has hundreds of dollars in aftermarket carbon fiber. The bike is fantastic looking. Absolutely everything works exactly as it should. I will gladly take it to a Ducati mechanic and have them go through it for any serious buyers (of course you would pay for the inspection). Always stored indoors.

Carbon Fiber Add Ons
Termignoni Half System
Integrated Rear LED Blinkers

There are only a few small cosmetic issues with the bike that were caused by a fall while stored inside. This bike was never dropped/crashed on the rode. In storage it tipped over and caused some fairings damage (only a small portion cracked, right side) and the front fairing stay cracked (the aluminum piece the mirrors and front fairing attach too). These DO NOT need to be repaired, they are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the bike at all. Fix them, or don't. Doesn't matter. The fixes can be done for a couple hundred bucks. Or the parts can be completely replaced for a little more. If I replaced them then this bike would look fresh off the dealer floor. This way you get a bike for a little cheaper and if you want to fix them you can.

Feel free to message with any questions. I own half a dozen Ducati's so I can assure you none get neglected.

Behind the scenes in Qatar

Sat, 19 Mar 2011

Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.

You don't try and pinch Rossi's bike

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

When Valentino Rossi suffered a low-speed crash in practice at Sepang, he was in no mood to throw the towel in. Unfortunately for the 9-time world champ, he couldn't just get back on his Ducati, he had to fight off the marshals from pushing his bike to the recovery zone. 'Excuse me, do you know who I am?'

Milan show: Ducati Diavel latest

Tue, 02 Nov 2010

Just got back from Ducati's stand in hall 18 and it's swamped. People are literally scuffling to get a sit on the new Diavel. I managed to scuffle my way to the front and even though the handlebar grips were dripping with other people's excited hand secretions, it was a pleasant experience.
