Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
Q&A With Nicky Hayden Inside Dainese D-store At Indy MotoGP
Wed, 14 Aug 2013The Dainese/AGV D-store in the Vendors Marketplace garages at the Indianapolis MotoGP is hosting a Q&A session with 2006 MotoGP World Champion, Nicky Haden, this Friday at 4:15 PM. Earlier Friday morning at the Pramac Ducati garage Dainese/AGV will unveil the custom Pista GP helmet, selected by Andrea Iannone, from hundreds of fan-submitted designs, to be used for the Indianapolis race weekend. Other events and signings will take place at the D-store which is open Friday 10 a.m.
