You are bidding on a 2009 Ducati 848 SuperBike. I am the 2nd owner of this bike and this bike has never been raced, tracked, or abused in any kind of way. The bike has 11,061 mile on it right now and it's completely dead stock. Has not been modified at all and has no been dropped at all. Has no physical damage at all as you can see in the pics. You will have a hard time finding a Ducati in this good of condition. Bike was always babied. I'm only selling because I'm moving away and can't take the bike with me. My loss is your gain. Has a completely clean title and I will be adding the VIN to the auction later when I get home and have the documentation. You are truly going to love this bike, nothing beats a Ducati. Runs like a beast and I am sincerely going to miss it. Still tons of riding left this Fall or if you live somewhere warm you can ride this beauty year round and I will envy you. Saltarelli Classic Ducati Collection Up for Auction
Tue, 17 Jan 2012One of the world’s largest private collections of Ducati motorcycles is going on the auction block. Former Ducati factory test rider, racer and dealer Carlo Saltarelli is selling his collection of classic motorcycles at RM Auction‘s biennial auction in Monaco on May 11-12 during the Grand Prix of Monaco Historique. Saltarelli’s collection includes 100 motorcycles including a 1970 ex-Works Ducati 450 Desmo Corsa which was featured in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.
Ducati 1199 Panigale On The Dyno
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Italian magazine Motociclismo is one of the largest and most influential motorcycle publications in all of Europe, and they’ve captured this clip of a Ducati test rider running the new 1199 Panigale on the dyno. Rider wearing full gear aside (he even flips down his faceshield!), what sticks out to me is how quickly the new Superquadro engine accelerates through its rev range. I was also impressed at the length it took before the rev limiter was reached.
Ducati Celebrates 1 Million Facebook Likes – Video
Mon, 28 May 2012Facebook has been getting a bad rap of late with its recent IPO but that didn’t stop Ducati from celebrating its millionth “Like” on the official Ducati Facebook page. The Italian manufacturer marked the occasion with a video thanking its fans. The video is almost a real-life demonstration of how Facebook operates, following a first-person perspective of a fan visiting Ducati‘s headquarters in Bologna, Italy, and raising a thumb to “like” things he sees such the rows of L-Twin-powered motorcycles in the parking lot, Corse racebikes on display at the Ducati Museum, factory workers assembling a Ducati 1199 Panigale.
