Ducati 848. 2008 year model. Excellent condition. 7533 miles. This Ducati starts easily and runs perfectly. it is services about every 500 miles or after every track day. It is cosmetically exceptionally nice with no cracks in any of the bodywork. It is however primarily a track bike. It is not represented as a show bike. There are very minor blemishes from normal use. This bike has never been down. It has never been crashed or even tipped over. There are absolutely no scrapes on rearsets, bars or levers that would indicate a slide or tip over. Extensive work to lighten this bike to 387 lbs with fuel, track ready with LiPo battery (LiPo not used for street). Lighter and higger spec brakes and suspension than the Ducati Superleggera Ohlins FGR900 Superbike fork kit. Ohlins steering damper Ohlins TTX36 rear shock Brembo true monobloc 4 piston 2 pad calipers with titanium piston and pins Brembo 16RCS clutch master, Brembo 19 RCS front brake master. Rain Puts a Damper on Ducati MotoGP Test
Wed, 29 Feb 2012Wet conditions limited Ducati factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to just 18 laps each on the second of three days of MotoGP testing in Malaysia. Though there is a lot of work to be done for Ducati to be competitive, the heavy rainfall plus Hayden’s still-recovering shoulder limited track time for both riders. They used what time they did have to work on the Ducati Desmosedici GP12‘s electronics including new traction control software.

Wed, 28 May 2014Just over six months after Ducati revealed its Monster 1200 at EICMA, the Italian manufacturer announced another new liquid-cooled member to its naked roadster line. Sharing the same 90° V-Twin engine as the Hyperstrada and Hypermotard, the new Monster 821 shares many design cues with its 1198cc sibling. The 821cc Testastretta 11° engine, claiming 112 hp and 65.9 ft-lb., is housed in a steel trellis frame similar to that on the Monster 1200.

Not one of the Ducati duo goes arse-over-tit in the snow.
