Ducati Superbike description

2008 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, Amazing track weapon! - This 1098 is not your average 1098.. This one is dripping with goodness and bits usually reserved for AMA teams. The engine was built by Larry Pegrams AMA engine builder, Dave Weaver, and features 1098R cams as well as ported heads and higher compression pistons, and is putting out 160+hp at the rear wheel. Exhaust exits the bike through a one off, full titanium 60mm Leo Vince system that was built exclusively for Pegram Racing to use on their race bikes. The stock Showa front end now features Ohlins internals set up to Pegram Racing specs, and the rear end is handled by an Ohlins TTX shock. A Ducati Performance slipper clutch has been installed, as have Dan Kyle 30mm offset triple trees. An SP electronics quickshifter was wired in, Pazzo levers installed, AFAM quickchange carrier put on, woodcraft rearsets and clutch cover were added... As we said, it is a sweet track weapon! This bike will come with a set of stands (front and rear) and a set of tire warmers, so you will be all set to go at your next track day or race!

Ducati Celebrates 1 Million Facebook Likes – Video

Mon, 28 May 2012

Facebook has been getting a bad rap of late with its recent IPO but that didn’t stop Ducati from celebrating its millionth “Like” on the official Ducati Facebook page. The Italian manufacturer marked the occasion with a video thanking its fans. The video is almost a real-life demonstration of how Facebook operates, following a first-person perspective of a fan visiting Ducati‘s headquarters in Bologna, Italy, and raising a thumb to “like” things he sees such the rows of L-Twin-powered motorcycles in the parking lot, Corse racebikes on display at the Ducati Museum, factory workers assembling a Ducati 1199 Panigale.

A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler

Tue, 02 Dec 2014

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.
