Ducati Superbike description

This is my 2007 Ducati Sport Classic SE. It is number 81 of 100 made special edition . 10 were produced in Canada and 90 in the United States .

It was purchased new by me in 2007 from Fast by Ferrachi in Willow Grove Pa. It was purchased cash and I have a clean New Jersey title of ownership in hand.
I originally bought it as a collectors bike and it has minimal mileage and wear as shown in the photos with 1180  original miles on the odometer .. Also in the photos you can see some of the original paint dashes on specific fasteners that are still on the bike showing were they checked off tightening them. There is some light surface rust on the right side oil return line and small pitting in some of the chrome plastic pieces around the lights and turn signals.
I have to note absolutely everything is original on this bike as I bought it except the tank pad I added to protect from scratches. Even the battery which has been on a battery tender since day one. These pictures were taken on 6/18/16 and the bike started right up and idled perfectly . I originally kept it legal and ran it for a couple tanks per season storing it with fuel stabilizer and premium fuel . The bike has been unregistered since early 2015 and only started occasionally. I would replace the battery if I were to be riding it this season but because it's only stored and on a tender I have not.
In the photos are the original spare keys , manuals , and the factory low-rise clip ons which came with the bike.

Also the factory tool kits is still in its original compartment under the seat.
All service was preformed at Fast by Ferrachi in Willow Grove which I believe was only its original break in valve check and oil and filter using the spec Shell oil and factory filter.
This bike has been babied and never has been dropped , wheeled , raced, or beat on in any way. Like I said it was road sparingly as it wasn't my only bike at the time.

It is now the last in my collection and would love for the right owner to have it as is why it is going up for auction. Blessings to the bidders and thank you!

MORE FACTS:
Each of these bikes came as a Monoposto, and was identified with a numbered plaque on the triple tree. In addition, you got a twin muffler shotgun exhaust, spoke wire wheels, and Brembo brakes. While most SportClassics came with double shocks, this bike only came with one Ohlins in the rear, presumably to make room for the unique exhaust. In 2007, this bike had a MSRP of $11,495, which makes the current asking price that much more depressing.

The problem with electric bikes...

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

This weekend sees the running of the most famous car race of them all, the Le Mans 24hrs, and to be a driver of one of the front-running cars has got to be fairly high on the list of jobs that will make ladies swoon. Speed, danger, noise, fame, physical fitness and lots and lots of money, the key elements of any top-line race series, tend to ensure that its star competitors manage to appear cool. But the latest press picture from Yamaha – publicising the firm's link with (Yamaha shareholder) Toyota's Le Mans effort – manages to strip away every last shred of of swagger from the team's drivers by plonking them on Yamaha EC-03 electric scooters.

2011 Vyrus Moto2 Grand Prix Racer Preview

Fri, 14 Jan 2011

Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

Ducati Strada Tech jacket

Sat, 01 May 2010

Most of you will know that Dainese design make most of Ducati’s top class performance wear and this new jacket is no exception. Designed in conjunction with the launch of the new Multistrada 1200 this great looking jacket can be separated with the interior lining usable as a stand alone windproof jacket. It’s good to see brands using mountainwear technology for things like zips and seamless stitching as it blocks out so much water and wind.
