Ducati Superbike description

2007 Ducati Superbike 1098, Xerox graphics round out this awesome 1098! Arrow exhaust, tinted shield, slipper clutch, more! Hot bike! - RACING SOUL The 1098 immediately stands out for its determined and aggressive stance. Every detail insists that performance is paramount. Traditional Ducati features such as a high set tail section, under-tail exhaust, single-sided swingarm, narrow profile and a rock-solid front end all emphasize the 1098’s aerodynamics and handling capabilities. Add to this a powerful Testastretta Evoluzione engine and you have a Ducati that looks like its moving even when its standing still. The 1098 is a milestone both for Ducati and production sportbikes in general. It is the first production bike to feature Brembo Monobloc calipers, an onboard data-logging system and new smart technology for the single-sided swingarm. Oval throttle bodies and a new dashboard are innovations direct from Ducatis MotoGP effort and appear on a road-going sportbike for the first time ever with the 1098. Simply put, the 1098 has a racing soul. SATISFYING ALL THE SENSES The throaty roar of the twin under-seat exhausts are synchronized with the howl of the elliptical throttle bodies providing a fitting fanfare for the new 1098 Testastretta Evoluzione engine. The huge 104 mm bore and all-new cylinder head design unite to produce an awesome 160 horsepower and an arm-wrenching 90+ foot pounds of torque. Developed together with Ducati Corse, the 1098 is a masterpiece of incredible performance and innovation. MCC Motor Cycle Center serves Chicago, Illinois and all of the Chicagoland area. Rossi to Ducati: The affair begins

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

WE'VE STUMBLED across a series of videos posted on YouTube which follow the behind-the-scenes action of Valentino Rossi taking his first spin aboard Ducati's 2011 MotoGP racer. Filmed by an insider and posted on 'Tube by those lovely chaps at 'Assphalt and Rubber', the series of six videos follows the nine-time World Champion, as he's introduced to the 2011 machine for the first time. Rossi ended the two-day session at Valencia in 15th place on the timesheets.

Is This a Ducati Multistrada 848 or a Hypermotard 848?

Fri, 18 May 2012

Spy photos have emerged of what appears to be a new liquid-cooled Ducati model As you can tell from the utilitarian-looking exhaust, it’s still a prototype, but the production version could be ready for this fall’s EICMA show. It’s not clear at this point whether this new model will be a new Hypermotard or possibly a new mid-sized Multistrada. At first glance, the front “beak” fender and hand guards evokes the existing Ducati Hypermotards, but existing Hypermotard 796 and 1100EVO are both air-cooled and this model is liquid-cooled.

Audi Announces Ducati Q3 2013 Sales Results

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

Ducati delivered 36,662 motorcycles worldwide over the first nine months of 2013, according to the third quarter financial report from parent company Audi. An exact year-over-year comparison is not available however, as Audi only took control of Ducati on July 19, 2012, but Audi admits demand had declined mainly due to a weak economy in key European markets such as France, Spain and Ducati’s home market, Italy. We can provide a rough year-over-year comparison for the third quarter ended Sept.
