Have to see in person! - A CELEBRATION OF ITALIAN STYLE For 2007 only, the 1098 S is also available as a special Tricolore version in the red, white and green livery of the Italian flag. The Ducati Tricolore tradition began in 1985 with the stunning 750 F1 and then continued with the limited edition 851. The latest Tricolore sports the same specifications as the 1098 S as well as traditional racing gold finished frame and wheels and, for track use only, a 102dB Termignoni racing muffler kit with dedicated ECU.

The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
