I owned this bike a little over 2 years now, love it but is time i part ways with it. Have a wedding to pay and this must go. When I bought it it had 16k miles and it was a theft recovery. It was missing the plastics and the clutch basket. I "thought" I got a good deal when i bought it but looking back i didn't. LOVE the bike, very fast and fun, i did go to a few track days at Gingerman in south west Michigan but all city miles. I ended up buying a new clutch for it and that has been installed by Ducati of Chicago to Specs, and I bough OEM 1098S plastics (no China) from a guy who turned his bike into a track bike. Your gain, my loss. The bike now has 19,859 miles and I still ride it everyday(might change)). I will put it up with no reserve and sell it. Fri, 05 Jul 2013On June 30, Lightning Electric Motorcycles made history when its rider, current motorcycle record holder Carlin Dunne, completed the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 10:00.964, beating all other motorcycles — gas or electric, 82 in total — to the 14,000-foot summit. This marks the first time in a major motorsport event an electric motorcycle has beaten its gas counterparts. In fact, Dunne’s time is still within the top 10 when you include the four-wheel competitors as well.
