Ducati Superbike description

I owned this bike a little over 2 years now, love it but is time i part ways with it. Have a wedding to pay and this must go. When I bought it it had 16k miles and it was a theft recovery. It was missing the plastics and the clutch basket. I "thought" I got a good deal when i bought it but looking back i didn't. LOVE the bike, very fast and fun, i did go to a few track days at Gingerman in south west Michigan but all city miles. I ended up buying a new clutch for it and that has been installed by Ducati of Chicago to Specs, and I bough OEM 1098S plastics (no China) from a guy who turned his bike into a track bike. Your gain, my loss. The bike now has 19,859 miles and I still ride it everyday(might change)). I will put it up with no reserve and sell it. The day you buy it you will get a Michigan rebuilt title, spare key, and i am looking for the 500 deposit in paypal and rest in cash or cashier. If you have questions call/txt 2692629426 (trades)

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Intermot 2012: 2013 Ducati 848 EVO Corse Special Edition Announced

Tue, 02 Oct 2012

We expected more from Ducati at the 2012 Intermot show as the Italian manufacturer makes its first appearance at the Cologne show under its new German owners at Audi and the Volkswagen Group. Instead, Ducati chose to keep its juiciest reveals for its home market at EICMA in November while revealing a number of color updates to returning models at Intermot. Ordinarily, we’d call this disappointing but one look at the 2013 Ducati 848 EVO Corse changed our minds.
