Ducati Superbike description

2007 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, This is a very babied and papered 1098s Tricolore. Not only does it have the upgrades that the bike came with from the factory such as forged marchesini wheels, Ohlins suspension and steering dampener, full termignoni exhaust system with race ECU and carbon fiber upgrades but I have put a lot of money into upgrading key areas of the bike. This bike now has a yoyodine slipper clutch, Acculine rear sets, Aluminum clutch cover, steel gas tank and comfort grips. This bike is seriously clean and in collector condition. The tires are also in good shape with lots of miles left on them. This bike has never been laid down and only serviced at a Ducati dealer. A bike in this condition is not easy to find. Feel Free to call me with any questions or to make an appointment to see the bike. I am open to reasonable offers. Call Drew at (760)917-1008 $18,000.00 7609171008

Ducati Restructures Presence in India, Cutting Ties with Distributor Precision Motor

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Ducati announced it is ending its relationship with importer Precision Motor and setting up its own operations in India. Precision Motors has been Ducati’s official importer since 2008, but the relationship has soured recently with reports of poor customer service and delays in deliveries. Ducati will now begin establishing its own dealer network in India, likely relying on the resources of parent company Audi and other Volkswagen Group brands.

2010 Ducati Multistrada: crashed

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

THIS IS WHAT a 2010 Ducati Multistrada looks like when it's been slung up a gravel road at well over 60mph. The word on the street is that journo Costa Mouzouris of CMGonline is the culprit behind the battled-scarred machine; reports say he lobbed it while on the bike's world press launch in Lanzarote. In true Ducati post-topple fashion, the bike appears to have spewed the contents of its sump over the floor, as well as sustaining a fair bit of cosmetic damage.

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.
