2007 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, This is a very babied and papered 1098s Tricolore. Not only does it have the upgrades that the bike came with from the factory such as forged marchesini wheels, Ohlins suspension and steering dampener, full termignoni exhaust system with race ECU and carbon fiber upgrades but I have put a lot of money into upgrading key areas of the bike. This bike now has a yoyodine slipper clutch, Acculine rear sets, Aluminum clutch cover, steel gas tank and comfort grips. This bike is seriously clean and in collector condition. The tires are also in good shape with lots of miles left on them. This bike has never been laid down and only serviced at a Ducati dealer. A bike in this condition is not easy to find. The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

Nicky Hayden Signs Contract Extension with Ducati

Ducati has signed Nicky Hayden to a one-year contract extension, retaining the Kentucky native for the 2013 MotoGP season. Hayden, who turns 31 on July 31, has raced for Ducati‘s factory team since 2009. During this period, Hayden has been somewhat overshadowed by his teammates, first by Casey Stoner and now Valentino Rossi.

Leon Morris (Buildbase/JHP Ducati) took both wins at Round Two of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge rounding out a very challenging weekend for all the rider and teams at Assen. The changeable weather conditions made for last-minute tyre decisions and tricky racing conditions as the rain came in heavy bursts throughout the weekend, leaving a number of riders out on track on the wrong tyres. Qualifying on Saturday was typical, as the weather rendered two of the three qualifying sessions damp, leaving only the early afternoon session in which all the riders posted a fast time.
