Ducati Superbike description

What is there to say about this exotic 999S Testastretta Superbike? Purchased new in September 2005 in Danbury, CT and stored in a heated / cooled environment alongside an equally precious Ferrari, this bike is simply new. Services were regularly performed by Maxs Ducati. This bike is ready to rumble! Truly this wonderful machine requires nothing but a new owner with the willingness and talent to put this superbike thru its paces. The bike is sold complete and ready to use. The Connecticut title has no liens, loans or damage history. All manuals, colored keys and factory computer card are included. A battery tender also goes with the purchase, as well as the Vintage Italian agv helmet pictured. I have opened both side covers so as to confirm my comments on its overall condition.

The 2005 was an advanced design over the 2003 and older bikes. It develops an enormous 124 bhp while delivering 40+ mpg with a range of 130 miles. The bike is fit with a complete Termignoni Exhaust and a Ducatiperformance Steering Damper. The base cost of this bike in 2005 was north of $27,000 dollars. Push the starer button and this Italian Thoroughbred fires to life! The engine and gearbox sound compare to no other motorcycle ever built. Truly a masterpiece of engineering.

The rosso red paintwork is flawless, not even a scratch on the tank from a zipper. Clearly, this bike was simply purchased and then stored. Please join me in the scenic hamlet of Bedford Village, NY, just 42 miles north of Times Square. I may be reached at (914) 403-1768.

Please take your time and study the detailed photos. Feel free to give me a call and schedule a trip to Bedford to examine this wonderful machine. If shipping is an issue, I will trailer deliver the bike within a 100 mile radius. If greater distances are required, I can recommend a national mover. Again, thank you for your time in studying this ad. Please call (914) 403-1768. Cheers! John Louis

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
