2004 Ducati 749R - 2, five miles Dealer installed Termignoni Kit installed. Kit includes new ECU, induction changes amp; exhaust upgrade. It has always been kept in an air-conditioned and humidity controlled facility. Only 2, 5 mis since new.. The 749R has been ridden a few miles each month to keep it in good shape. It has never been on a track, raced or otherwise abused. It is an extremely fun bike to ride with its 749cc displacement allowing for more shifting of its sweet gear box than would take place with a liter bike.

This is in addition to the impressive collection of Harley-Davidsons from the Pierce collection headlining the auction. Comprised of Italian thoroughbreds, the Silverman collection is one of the most renowned in the world and is based largely around competition models. For instance, featured is a 1973 750SS Imola Short Stroke.

The good news is Ducati managed to trim another second off of Valentino Rossi‘s Day Two test time. The bad news is the Doctor is still over a second behind Casey Stoner. Of course, considering how much faster Stoner has been compared with everyone else at the MotoGP test in Sepang, that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
