In April of 2015 at 11,800 miles it received new front fork Showa shocks due to a leak as well as an entire fluid flush and refill. History: I am the second owner of this vehicle which I purchased in 2011 from a Navy Chief Petty Officer who brought this back with him while on Tour in Italy. When he returned back to the states he had it modified to adhere to US Federal vehicle regulations. I purchased the vehicle in purchased in Kentucky, and it has moved with me my throughout Military changes of duty stations. It has been housed in TN, GA, CO, NH and now ME all while maintaining a NH Certificate of Title. It recently changed to a Maine state Title and is currently not registered as I do no want to pay anymore massive excise taxes on vehicles in the town of Waterville. Buyer: A 500 dollar down payment within 24 hours and cash or a cashiers check at time transfer of bike is required. I am willing to transport the vehicle within an hour of Waterville, Maine (to include Portland). Recall for 2011 Ducati Diavel
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Ducati is recalling certain 2011 Diavel units due to a risk of the license plate holder coming loose. The license plate holder on the Ducati Diavel floats over the rear tire thanks to a bracket attached to the swingarm. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brass inserts in the chain guard may become deformed over time, potentially loosening the screws attaching the bracket to the swingarm.
