2002 Ducati 998- MINT CONDITION This 998 is one of a kind. Tons of carbon fiber, suspension upgrades, new and upgraded parts. The list is too long to mention. 2002 was the only year this bike was made and is a collectors item. I ride it every weekend I can but the bike looks like a garage queen. It will feel equally at home as a daily rider on display in someone's office, shop or Living Room. The bike has been meticulously cared for and maintained by renowned shop Motocorse in Pompano Beach, FL. Please look at all the photos to appreciate the extensive carbon fiber body work and other pieces. This alone is worth over $6K. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
Miguel Duhamel to Ride for Lightning-Barracuda at Le Mans FIM e-Power/TTXGP Race
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Miguel Duhamel is returning to action to race in the FIM e-Power International Championship for Lightning Motorcycles. The five-time Daytona 200 winner will ride the Lightning Barracuda electric motorcycle for the joint FIM and TTXGP race at Le Mans , and Motorcycle.com had a role in setting up the connection. The topic of a rider for Le Mans came up during the preparations for Associate Editor Troy Siahaan‘s exclusive test of the Lightning race bike last month.
