Ducati Superbike description
Here
is the auction you have been waiting for! 2001 Ducati 748 Biposto with 7,282 miles.
This is
one of the most prestigious and sought after road racing bikes in the history
of motorcycles. Everyone dreams of owning a Duc and here is your chance. These bikes were selling
for $13,500+ NEW. The style and performance of these bikes were way ahead of
their time. The 748 handles in an
outstanding fashion true to its racing heritage. This bike shifts smoothly
through all gears and handles extremely well even when diving into serious
corners. All maintenance has been done and this bike is ready for a serious
season of riding. Never abused, tracked or even left outside for a night, garage kept. This motorcycle is Adult
owned and ridden, unmolested ( minus a few aftermarket upgrades) with all
up to date services just performed. This 748 has no known mechanical
issues nor does it need any maintenance. Bike fell on right side while being
moved, foot brake and front brake lever are scrapped. That’s it. See pictures. Everything works as it should. Starts and runs perfectly. NO RESERVE!!
Just performed services and upgrades include: - New Battery
- Brembo rear master cylinder
- New Grips
- Full Service performed (See naked bike on lift)
- New plugs
- New oil
- Coolant flush
- Brake flush
- Brand New Pirelli Diablo tires (under 100 miles)
- Full Fast by Ferracci exhaust system

- I do have the passenger rear sets as well.
plus so much more!
This bike is by no means your average Ducati, such it won't sell for the average price! The next owner will not be disappointed in the prestige and performance of this icon.
I am in NO need to sell this Ducati so please no low ball offers. No trades. I am still riding this bike so miles could vary at time of sale. Clear NJ title in hand. NO RESERVE!! Any questions feel free to inbox message me.
I am happy to facilitate shipping but buyer will assume all responsibility for making shipping arrangements. I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally. I also have a red 1999 Ducati 996 for sale with 2,470 miles.

Ducati Strada Tech jacket
Sat, 01 May 2010Most of you will know that Dainese design make most of Ducati’s top class performance wear and this new jacket is no exception. Designed in conjunction with the launch of the new Multistrada 1200 this great looking jacket can be separated with the interior lining usable as a stand alone windproof jacket. It’s good to see brands using mountainwear technology for things like zips and seamless stitching as it blocks out so much water and wind.
Troy Bayliss and Ernesto Marinelli on the Ducati 1199 Panigale [Video]
Tue, 22 Nov 2011Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and Ducati Superbike Project Director Ernesto Marinelli sat down together to talk about the new Ducati 1199 Panigale in a new video released by the Bologna manufacturer. The video was shot in a split screen format with the two men answering questions about Ducati‘s new superbike. Of course, the video feature the two lauding superlatives on the 1199, but it does offer some amusing moments such as Bayliss’ “Superquadro” face pictured above and the two men doing their impressions of how the Panigale sounds rocketing down the straight of the Mugello circuit.
1199 TerraCorsa
Fri, 25 Oct 2013Looking like something from Mission Impossible II, this 1199 Panigale S has been given the off-road treatment by MotoCorsa, a Ducati dealer based across the pond in Portland. The bike features a Desert Storm paint job, a stock 1199 exhaust and a custom crash guard. MotoCorsa’s General Manager Arun Sharma said that they “dropped the forks as low as we could in the triple and raised the shock’s ride height as much as possible; the idea being to max out the ground clearance.”“There’s all these guys saying ‘that’s so stupid’ or ‘why would you ruin a good bike like that?’ Well, why not just have some fun and be silly?”The bike’s been taken on a 1200 mile adventure and apparently performed faultlessly across all kinds of terrain. MotoCorsa plan to make another video where the bike is taken off-road again, then driven into the garage before being prepared for a track day.
