Exhaust race baffles and ECU provide additional deep Ducati sound and performance. Sale includes original rims, mirrors, blinkers, service manual, passenger foot pegs, and bi-posto tail for two up riding. Bike serviced on manufactures schedule by Austin Ducati. Carlos Checa Tests Superbike-Spec 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale at World Ducati Week
Thu, 21 Jun 2012Revellers at 2012 World Ducati Week got a surprise treat with defending World Superbike Champion Carlos Checa completing an unscheduled test of the WSBK-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale. The Althea Ducati racer has ridden the production version of the Panigale but this marked his first test of the WSBK-spec version. His maiden ride of the WSBK Panigale was supposed to take place at Mugello but instead Checa and Ducati decided to give the Ducatisti a treat at the Misano circuit for WDW.

Some speculated they were chewing the fat over Stoner’s brilliance now that even Rossi is struggling to get close to the podium on the D800cc Ducati. Others had no doubt it was the rule change for Moto GP machines moving to 1000cc in 2012 that was being debated.
MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
