Selling my 2011 Ducati multi-Strada S touring edition. This bike is in excellent condition with only 8309 miles.No dents,dings,scratches,etc. I am a 56-year-old enthusiast and I am selling off a couple of my motorcycles. This bike has never been abused or dropped and is in very-very clean condition. This Multi-Strada comes with the electronically adjustable on the fly suspension,heated grips,ABS and traction control. It has a full stainless steel and carbon fiber arrow exhaust system with removable decibel killer silencer insert. With the insert in the silencer this is a nice throaty quiet exhaust. The bike had the computer re flashed when the exhaust was installed at Ducati Miami. Runs fantastic with no popping or backfiring like some I have heard.It has a good set of Michelin tires on it with plenty of tread left. I installed a upgraded adjustable windshield which makes this a very comfortable motorcycle. Stock shield included. I also will include the factory optional centerstand. Great for chain maintance. I was going to wait until spring to list this bike but will offer it here at a reduced end of season price. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to see the bike in person. Thu, 24 Nov 2011A couple of days ago, we shared a fun video featuring three-time World Superbike Champ Troy Bayliss and Ernesto Marinelli, head of Ducati’s superbike program talking about the new 1199 Panigale. While that video was cute with some entertaining interaction between the two long-time collaborators, it was rather light on information about Ducati’s latest superbike. Today, we have a second, lengthier video featuring Marinelli and Bayless offering a more technical look at the Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Tue, 17 Aug 2010THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.

Tue, 22 Feb 2011I know that the 749 and the 999 split opinion when they were launched. And even today, they don't possess the obviously stunning silhouette of the 848 and 1098 but I'm pretty sure they'll become curious classics in the future. However, this 749 is different and I think it's stunning because, well, it's not the same old 749R with a few carbon bits added.
