Ducati Sport Touring description

My very rare 2006 Ducati ST3 ABS is up for auction... she only has 2850 miles and is just an extraordinary beauty.  One of those kind of bikes that owners grab a glass of wine and just go stare at in their garage (when not riding of course!!!)

Twisting Asphalt says it best in their review "A thick early morning marine layer is hanging just a few feet above the coast as I whip through another mile of twisting euphoria. Each consecutive series of corners comes flying at me in a rapid succession that almost seems implausible and yet it’s not. Because it’s happening right before my eyes and even though I can’t quite believe it’s real, I know it is. Driving hard out of the turn I peer ahead and as soon as I’m able to focus on the next corner, it becomes the last corner. Gone. Just like that. Consumed in a remarkably easy singular motion that only comes forth when you realize that you’re not just out riding, you’re hunting a form of ecstasy."  http://twistingasphalt.com/index.php/2006/06/19/st3-abs-review/

Want the specs?  Here they are straight from Ducati: http://www.ducati.com/bikes/sporttouring/st3s_abs/2006/tech_spec.do  More horsepower and torque than anyone will ever need!

Puchased new at Valley Motor Sports in Northhampton, Massachusetts.  Recent service at the Velocity Channel's Cafe Racer TV's Loaded Gun Customs shop in Delaware. She's in showroom conditioned with only a minor blemish on the left luggage box and mirror from a rub up against my garage wall.  See pictures for yourself-

Purchased and installed a matching top box from the factory in Italy ($500) and added a GPS holder for the handlebars... otherwise totally stock.  Strong battery, as new tires, incredible ohlin shock,  fabulous Brembo brakes, and more.  Always in heated garage and your puchase includes the matching Ducati soft cover.

Get ready for admirers!  A real head turner.  If you want attention, this is the bike to own.   Good luck bidders!!!

Bike is located in Ocean View, Delaware.

130mph on sand: £6k and big balls needed

Fri, 30 Jul 2010

I spotted this for sale on another website. It's not every day one of these comes up for sale. And there's probably a reason for that - not everyone needs to do 130mph on sand...

2025 Ducati Panigale V4S Review – First Ride

Mon, 16 Sep 2024

Ducati’s flagship is the beneficiary of MotoGP input Photos by Alex Photo MotoGP has been called the Ducati Cup in recent years because the brand takes up a third of the grid – and they’re all usually at the front. Granted, I suppose the kind of criticism is warranted if you like a little variety with your racing, but the reason behind all those bikes is more nuanced than just wanting to steal the show. Ostensibly, team boss Gigi D’alligna’s job was to bring Ducati back to the top.

2010 Ducati Multistrada: crashed

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

THIS IS WHAT a 2010 Ducati Multistrada looks like when it's been slung up a gravel road at well over 60mph. The word on the street is that journo Costa Mouzouris of CMGonline is the culprit behind the battled-scarred machine; reports say he lobbed it while on the bike's world press launch in Lanzarote. In true Ducati post-topple fashion, the bike appears to have spewed the contents of its sump over the floor, as well as sustaining a fair bit of cosmetic damage.
