2003 Ducati Sport Touring on 2040-motos

For sale is my 2003 Ducati ST4s ABS with ABS. I always thought I'd keep this bike forever, but the new bike bug has bitten and she has to go to make space. L-Twin, 996 motor - full specs on the bike here:

She has 50,600 miles (and counting) and I've owned her since about 15,000 miles. I've done most of the maintenance, with the hard stuff (valves, belts, forks, etc.) being done by Tom Hull in the Mesa area. If you don't know Tom Hull and you have a Ducati in Arizona you need to know him. No one else works on my bike.

Bike runs great. Only issues are some cosmetic items like chips and small cracks in the plastics (bike has 50k miles, it hasn't been sitting in a show room) and it's leaking some oil from the clutch push rod. If you're familiar with these bikes, it's a common issue. Probably just need to replace the o-rings on the push rod. I've had to do it before and I actually have the new rings, just haven't done it.  The biggest item is that a few years ago the chain got loose (my fault) and scratched the case and also ate through the chain slider and gouged the bottom of the swing arm pretty good.  I included a close up pic of that.

Aside from that, here's a run down on everything, including the stuff I've added to the bike:

- Fresh oil change last week

- Flushed cooling system last week

- Brand new Lithium battery last week

- Rear tire is practically new - probably around 500 miles on it.

- Replaced the chain and sprockets when I did the rear tire.

- Front tire probably needs to be replaced.

- Valve adjustment done and belts replaced around 45k miles by Tom Hull.  

- Ducati Designs headlight. If you know anything about these bikes, the original lights sucked. This was a $600 upgrade.

- Ducati Designs phone mount

- Forks rebuilt with heavier Race Tech Springs

- Rear spring replaced with heavier spring

- Desmo Times cooling fan bypass switch installed

- Case Saver chain deflector installed

- Replaced all the starting circuit wiring with upgraded heavy-duty wires

- Voltmeter installed on the dash panel

- Pazzo shorty levers installed

- Custom Sargent seat installed (also have original seat)

- Carbon Fiber Arrow exhaust cans installed. Motor has been tuned to the pipes so there is no popping or anything. They sound beastly.

- I rebuilt the clutch with billet parts at around 27 k miles, including billet pressure plate, and spring retainer. It's a Ducati dry clutch with an open cover. I replaced the stainless steel clutch springs about a year ago. I also have a spare set of brand new clutch plates.

- Desmo Times foot peg lowering brackets

- Installed brand new Oberon billet clutch slave cylinder a couple years ago.

- Various other billet parts you can see in the pics (countershaft cover, generator cover plate, brake and clutch reservoir covers)

- I have 2 keys plus the magic red master key. I have 1 original key for the locking hard bags and 1 duplicate backup key.

-  I will also include the Desmo Times maintenance manual which is a must have if you are wrenching on the bike yourself (Desmotimes.com) and owners manual.

I've ridden this bike all over AZ, to california, and I rode it to Montana and back a few years ago including doing 1,000 miles in one day from here to Idaho. It's a great touring bike.
