Up for auction is a 1999 Ducati ST4 Sport Touring
motorcycle.
We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW, Honda,
Suzuki, and Kawasaki motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This
Ducati motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership, toward the purchase of a new BMW motorcycle. This 2 owner ST4 belonged most recently to a client in his late 50's who owned this motorcycle since 2008 and he purchased it then with only 4,308 miles at the time. He had his recommended major
maintenance done at the Ducati dealership over the past few years. This motorcycle is
basically all OEM stock, with
no upgrades or modifications other than a smoke tinted windscreen. Nice and original, just how the bike was sold new back in 1999.
This Ducati ST4 has just over 9,671 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike. Our service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle, and we have found that the speedometer & tachometer has just recently stopped working. We took the bike on a test ride when we took in trade & they were working fine, so we know the miles on the bike are accurate. We are not a Ducati dealership, therefore we are unable to diagnose or fix this issue. There appears to be an issue or malfunction with the entire gauge cluster. Aside from this minor gauge cluster issue, this Ducati 2 cylinder engine starts easy, runs strong, and the transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly. Ducati Announces Record Sales in 2012
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Ducati sold a record 44,102 motorcycles in 2012 while reporting a 16% increase in revenue over 2011. The positive news was announced as part of new parent company Audi‘s annual press conference in Igolstadt, Germany. Worldwide revenues totaled 606 million euros (US$789 million) including more than 200 million euros since Audi officially acquired Ducati in July 2012.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes Racing Debut
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale made its worldwide racing debut this past weekend, winning a race in Spain and scoring a pole position and a pair of podium finishes in South Africa. Ducati‘s latest sportbike isn’t due to make its international racing debut until the Superstock 1000 Cup race, April 1 at Italy’s Imola circuit, but the 1199 has already found success in domestic racing. Ismael Bonilla (pictured above) of EMS Competicion scored the Panigale’s first win in the opening race of the Castellano-Manchego Championship in Spain at the Albacete circuit last weekend.
Ducati CEO Domenicali Talks 899 Panigale, Audi and MotoGP Performance
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Following the debut of the new 899 Panigale during Audi‘s presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Ducati held a separate, smaller press conference with the motorcycle press at its headquarters in Bologna, Italy, to discuss the new “Supermid” sportbike and the company’s Chief Executive Officer Claudio Domenicali discussed the state of the company after a year under its new ownership. “Audi is a stakeholder who wishes to be involved in the technical development of the company and to focus its efforts on product development. Now, a year after the acquisition, it is time to take stock of the initial results and look to the future with a positive and proactive attitude,” says Domenicali. “Ducati achieved record sales in 2011 and again in 2012 when over 44,000 motorcycles were delivered to customers.
