2007 Ducati 1098S Tricolore Superbike
For 2007 only, the 1098 S is also available in an additional special 'Tricolore' version (red, white and green, the colours of the Italian national flag). The Ducati 'Tricolore' tradition began in 1985 with the stunning 750 F1 and then continued with the limited edition 851. The latest 'Tricolore' is a 1098 S with the additional features of frame and wheels finished in traditional 'racing gold' colours. In addition, a power-increasing 102 dB Termignoni racing muffler kit with dedicated ECU is supplied with the bike.

Ducati Expands to Argentina, Assembly Plant in Brazil Now Fully Operational
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Ducati has extended its South American operations, signing a new import and distribution agreement for Argentina. The deal follows the opening of Ducati‘s new show room in Săo Paulo, Brazil, and the new assembly plant in Manaus, Brazil, reaching full operation of Complete Knock Down kits of the Diavel and Monster 796. The South American expansion really kicked off last October, when Ducati established its own Brazilian subsidiary following the collapse of its previous importing partner, the Izzo Group.
Satellite Ducati Team Reveals Desmosedici GP12 Specs
Fri, 20 Jan 2012Ducati continues to be tight-lipped about the 2012 edition of its Desmosedici MotoGP race bike, but specifications have finally emerged, thanks to satellite rider Karel Abraham and the Cardion AB satellite team. As a satellite entry, Cardion AB and Abraham won’t have the latest updates to the Desmosedici the factory team has access to, but the Czech team’s announcement reveals some of the basis behind the final machine riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will ride. The Czech team revealed on its official webpage its Ducati Desmosedici GP12 will produce around 250 hp from its 999cc engine.

While the company’s name might not be commonplace among performance oriented riders – yet – some pretty big names are using MWR filters even though the company doesn’t pay sponsorship dollars. According to MWR’s press release, “the reigning WSBK champion, Tom Sykes uses MWR Air Filters in his Kawasaki ZX10R.” Also, 17 riders at the Isle of Man TT were running with MWR filters.
