Ducati Other description

2013 DUCATI 1199 Panigale S Demo, This is a Demo model and may not meet the manufacture s requirements that allow us to sell it at this time. So come down and take it for a test ride! This 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale S ABS DEMO in Red is for Sale at Euro cycles of Tampa Bay 8509 Gunn highway Odessa, FL 33556 Phone:813-926-9937 Web: Options: Full LED headlights, front carbon fiber mudguard, Marchesini machine-finished wheels, electronically controlled Ohlin suspension and adjustable Ohlins steering damper, Ducati Quick shift, Ducati Traction control, ABS, adjustable riding modes, TFT instrument Panel Overview: The 1199 Panigale sets a new and extreme standard of reference in the world of superport bikes. The project that brought the 1199 Panigale into being based itself on two seemingly impossible objectives, which have been brilliantly achieved: a 10 kg reduction in weight and a 25 HP increase in power. Its arrival is a milestone in the glorious history of the Ducati Superbike. The beauty of speed translated into design. The pure racing spirit is instantly channelled into the rider just by gripping the 1199 Panigale s handlebar. The front headlamp disappears into the air scoops to give a look of no holds-barred competition. While the 1199 Panigale features LEDs for position lights and lamps for the headlights, the S versions and S Tricolore have full LED lighting, a totally new concept for motorcycles. The elegant forms of the saddle and the tail are heightened by the position of the exhaust and by the full LED tail light. Perspectives and lines are designed to attain aesthetic perfection; every one of its components is a true achievement in the integration of engineering and design. Breathtaking, trademark Ducati design. The 1199 Panigale is a bike that conveys power, elegance and agility. Engine: The engine has been designed as the structural element of the frame. As such, its architecture has been completely reviewed to ensure the best design in terms of structure, weight distribution and robustness. The cylinders, at a 90 angle of each other, have been rolled back an additional 6 on the crankcase to produce a 21 angle between the front cylinder and the horizontal plane. This has allowed the engine to go forward by 32 mm, as a result improving the distribution of weights between the front and rear end and achieving the perfect position of the fastening points of the cylinder heads into the monocoque chassis of the 1199 Panigale.

"So when's your first race" says Paul Sands, George White main mechanic. "In 10 days' time" says I, wincing in anticipation of his response. To his credit, he didn't flinch.

Church of MO: 2002 Ducati 999 Comes To America

Sun, 28 Aug 2022

Looking back upon it through 20-year thick vino rosso-colored glasses, I remember really liking the 2002 Ducati 999. Probably because so many others did not; following that 916 shape was never going to be easy. But reading the old road test, the faint praise is palpable.

2012 Ducati Streetfighter 848 Spied

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

A photograph has emerged of what is reported to be a new, smaller version of the  Ducati Streetfighter featuring the company’s 848 engine. The photograph, posted by a user on the Ducati.ms forum, was reportedly snapped outside Ducati’s factory in Bologna. The banana yellow motorcycle sports a five-bolt hub on the rear wheel, similar to the Ducati 848EVO, whereas the current 1098cc Streetfighter has a six-bolt rear hub (pictured below from our 2009 Ducati Streetfighter review).
