2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale, 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Base (non-abs). I bought it brand new in March 2013. Extras include Termignoni exhaust with the race ECU, Woodcraft rear sets (GP shift), motovation front and rear axle sliders, and real carbon fiber tank pad. This bike is in showroom condition and does not have a scratch on it. Full factory warranty. Exhaust and rear sets were installed by my local Ducati dealer. 2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands

Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.

Manufacturers checking out manufacturers is nothing new. At trade shows like Intermot rival manufacturers are as eager as the journalists to see the new models being unveiled. I happened across three of Ducati's top brass checking out the bikes on Triumph's stand, Left to right you have: Diego Sgorbati, Marketing Director, Gabriele del Torchio, CEO and Claudio Domenicali, the boss of Ducati Corse.
