Up for sale my personal 2006 Ducati Sport 1000, engine and chassis numbers are a match and the bike has a clean clear no salvage history Texas title. Mechanically the bike is a 9 10 could use a set of plug wires and needs front signals. I just never found anything I liked to put on the front so she has no front signals. Otherwise the bike is totally sound and ready to ride. I had DP performance cams put in (work done at AMS here in Dallas) maybe 1,500mis ago, maybe less. Can t find the receipts but if you need verification I can make it happen, they know the bike at AMS. Ducati Forms New Brazilian Subsidiary After Collapse of Importer Izzo
Mon, 22 Oct 2012Ducati announced the start of a new wholly-owned subsidiary for the Brazilian market after its former importing partner, the Izzo Group, ceased operations. The Izzo Group shut itself down earlier this month following a slow decline. At one point, the Izzo Group was one of Brazil’s largest motorcycle importers, with a list of manufacturers including Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, MV Agusta, Triumph and Zero.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Engine Details Revealed.
Mon, 10 Oct 2011Today, Ducati has revealed many telling details about the all-new 1199 Panigale “SuperQuadro” engine in anticipation of the machine’s complete unveiling next month at EICMA in Milan. Needless to say, with all the hype and buildup surrounding the 1199 Panigale, much of it has centered around the completely radical and highly oversquare engine that also acts as the main stressed member of the monocoque frame. The design goals were rather ambitious 195 hp, among others and as such, much of what we’ve come to expect from Ducati has been thrown out the window.
