Ducati Other description

2006 Ducati Sport Classic Paul Smart

Bike is in good shape. I am the second owner, it has a low production serial number Has the Termignoni exhaust and has been tuned. I also upgraded the stator and rotor along with the regulator, it was the only thing I was aware of these bikes having problems with  I just installed brand new Michelin 2ct tires I think a great tire for this bike This is not a trailer queen bike, But it is a clean bike with only a couple of cosmetic issues. The bike had fallen over (sitting still) prior to my purchase about 4 years ago. The left side has a couple of scratches on the tail section and on the side fairing and mirror. They are very small and doesn't really effect the look of the bike. The gas tank has a couple of budges on the top above the filler, I have always ran ethanol free gas and stored it over the winter with no fuel. The tank has not gotten any worse since I have owned it, so I've left it alone. I also have a spare tank (no swelling)  and a used tail section, they both have a light scratch both items I picked up on EBay with the intention of having them repainted and used as spares or vise versa. The bike had the 7,500 mile service done at Ducati Seattle belts, fluid ect. and the oil changed less than 200 miles ago This is probably one of  the coolest bike I have ever owned and I don't need to tell you about it because you probably already know. I regretfully am selling this bike due to a new business venture and as soon as possible will be looking for another one. Price is set with no reserve and I have taken into consideration the miles and cost of fixing the small cosmetic issues in the price these bikes have been selling for between $16k to 20K, and some for more a lot of them have lots of work done and put the affordability out of range for most people. Buyer is responsible for shipping but I will assist in taking the bike or meeting and transport company within a reasonable distance. I also will store the bike while shipping is being arranged. I have Red keys and spare along with the owners manual.

Note as far as the production number being low that might not be the case due to mis-information. But the bike was special ordered and never sat on the floor.

 Thanks

Remus launch slip-on for Ducati Diavel

Thu, 25 Aug 2011

Remus have launched their Hypercone slip-on kit for the Ducati Diavel. It's almost 5kg lighter than the stock exhaust and helps the Diavel gain 5bhp over the stock system too. The slip-on reduces what some designers call 'the visual weight' of the stock twin-stacked exhaust.
