Tough battles at Brands in the 848 Challenge

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

The unique prospect of racing on both the Indy and GP circuits at Brands Hatch meant that Round 5 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge was very much a tale of two halves. Having already raced the Indy circuit earlier in the season, the first part of the weekend was going to be reminiscent of previous rounds, while the switch to the GP circuit would favour those few who had previous race experience on the longer track. Nuggets from Estoril

Tue, 03 May 2011

HRC Executive Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Ducati General Director Filippo Preziosi attracted some major media attention as they enjoyed a lengthy but very public chat in the Estoril paddock. Some speculated they were chewing the fat over Stoner’s brilliance now that even Rossi is struggling to get close to the podium on the D800cc Ducati. Others had no doubt it was the rule change for Moto GP machines moving to 1000cc in 2012 that was being debated.

Ducati Spotted In Madagascar! + Video

Admittedly, I have yet to see the third installment of the hugely popular movie series in which the gang of zoo animals gets stuck on an island, but I suppose the cameo will appeal to those moto-parents who were dragged to the theater by their kids.
