The Rs engine has been specially developed for efficiency on the track. It develops 121 HP at 10,500 rpm and 62 ft-lbs of torque at 8,250 rpm. Customize your new Superbike with Ducati accessories. Working closely with R&D and the Corse race team, Ducati builds motorcycle accessories that let owners create their own Dream Bikes. This is one trashed 1199 Panigale
Tue, 24 Apr 2012This is what a destroyed Ducati 1199 Panigale looks like, after South African superbike racer Chris Leeson lost the front end at turn one of the Kyalami circuit. Ask MO Anything: Why Didn't the Ducati Supermono Just Use Normal Counterbalancers?
Mon, 12 Sep 2022Doppia Bielletta for 100, Alex Following our recent Falloon File about the lovely and talented little Ducati Supermono, Commenter Bob wanted to know: “Why did Bordi use an extra connecting rod instead of the usual balance shafts? BMW had a parallel twin with a third con rod for the same reason. I would be interested in reading a technical analysis of those motors.” Dear Bob, Interesting.
