Ducati Other description
Trade me your off road vehicle for my superbike!!!!!! Up for grabs today is my Ducati 748s. The bike has 16000 mis and is still running strong. I purchased this bike from a guy in Los Angeles and spent the last few months fixing it up. I flushed all the brake and clutch lines, upgraded brake pads, installed new fork seals and fork oil, installed new fuel flange gaskets and new fuel filter, installed new lightbulbs, replaced starter solenoid, added carbon fiber intake runners, carbon gauge cluster, and carbon fiber key guard. I installed hi flow UNI race filters, a light weight marchesini rear 848 rim, and brand new tires. I had my friend paint the bike. He also adjusted the valves and replaced the belts. The oil was changed and was replaced with AMS oil and K&N filter. The bad... the bike was hit by a truck backing out of its parking spot. The bike has a salvaged title. When I bought it, it looked rough but I fixed everything that was broken and it runs just as good as it looks. Nicky needs to slide
Mon, 10 May 2010Following Joe Kopp's historic win on a Ducati in AMA flat track, alarms bells have been going off in the heads of many, "Hey why doesn't Nicky Hayden jump on the Duke flat tracker?" Well the guys at the excellent American publication Road Racer X are running an online petition and a great marketing wake-up call for Ducati to get Nicky on board the bike for the Indy Mile on August 28th. If he won, and it's a big if considering he hasn't raced flat track in a long time, Nicky would complete the AMA Grand Slam which encompasses victories in the following; half-mile dirt track, mile dirt track, short track, TT, and a Superbike race win. It's an exclusive club with only four members, Dick Mann, Kenny Roberts, Doug Chandler and Bubba Shobert.
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Pre-Test
Thu, 16 Feb 2012Ducati‘s upcoming 1199 Panigale is the most exciting new sportbike in years. The outgoing 1198 was one of the most highly regarded sportbikes on the market, but the Panigale immediately demotes it to has-been status. It’s especially noteworthy for its monocoque chassis design that eschews a traditional frame for a structure built only around its new Superquadro engine.
