Ducati Other description

I am reluctantly offering for sale one of my favorite bikes. It's time to thin the herd. I have owned this bike for almost 9 years and have ridden it a total of 12 miles. I purchased the bike at an auction and met the previous owner after winning the bid. He explained the complete restoration and installing a zero mile speedometer. I have no paperwork or receipts to back up any overhaul claims. I also do not know the mileage on the bike before the restoration. It starts, runs and stops great. I have replaced the batteries and put in fresh gas and started it occasionally over the years. It always starts right up, idles smoothly with no funny noises. Tires are like new, chrome is shiny. No dents, dings, rips, tears or fading. the exhaust has the shorty muffler and is a little loud for me. I am no expert on these Ducatis but have been told it all looks to have all the original parts except that the fenders may have been red at one time. If there is any more information I may supply you with, please ask.  Thanks for looking and good luck.

The other day Ducati Diavel was seen on tests in Germany. In addition to the front footrests moved forward, an updated fuel tank and swingarm, the camouflaged motorcycle featured a belt drive rear wheel. The rear shock mount has been relocated, while the front still has a fork from Marzocchi, which disbanded this year.

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

If you’re wondering whether riding an air bike is similar to playing an air guitar then, yes, you’re on the right track. However, if you choose to enter the Ducati Air Bike Challenge, the reward for immortalizing your silliness on Youtube may be far greater than any air guitar prize — Ducati is providing the opportunity to win a paddock pass to a MotoGP race of your choosing. To enter, create a video of you riding your air Ducati.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
