2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S TOURING, Electronic suspension and horsepower control. Can switch between 100 HP and 150 HP and suspension settings on the fly. Very well-maintained. Scuff on hand guard, otherwise no chips, scratches, dings. This bike has always been garaged. Throttlemeister. Two seats--Ducati gel touring seat plus standard seat. Frame sliders. When I bought this, I was debating between a BMW 1200 GS and the Ducati. I bought the Ducati because of the street handling--the smaller diameter front tire makes cornering very easy. Mon, 07 May 2018The Italian crossover will take part in the legendary Pikes Peak race and try to improve KTM's result. Last year, Chris Fillmore and the wicked KTM 1290 Super Duke R set a record in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, completing a 19.99 km course with 156 turns in 9 minutes 49.625 seconds. But back in 2012, the Ducati Multistrada went out of 10 minutes and became the two-wheeled route record holder.

Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.

Thu, 12 Jul 2012Audi AG Chief Executive Officer Rupert Stadler addressed Ducati‘s workforce in Bologna, Italy, for the first time to address his company’s impending acquisition of the motorcycle maker. Joined by members of Ducati‘s management including President and CEO Gabriele Del Torchio, as well as Thomas Sigi, Audi’s head of human resources, Stadler met with Ducati’s entire workforce of nearly 1000 people to discuss the future of the company. The address comes after the European Union granted its blessing to the acquisition.
