Ducati Monster description

Last year of the classic Monsters.  Perfect condition - 800 miles - like new.  Regular weekend rides into town (8 miles round trip), but my BMW is my main bike, and I can no longer justify keeping both.

Optional fairing and solo seat cover.  I decided I like it without the fairing - see last two photos
Epoxy coated factory tank (for US ethanol gas)
Slipper clutch
Bar end mirrors (factory mirrors included - next to bike in photos)
Handlebar risers
Battery tender
Manual and red key
Complete service at 600 miles
Always garaged

NOTE:  Listed 2 weeks ago and high bidder notified me that they couldn't come up with enough money to cover the bid.  I had to wait a week to relist per ebay policy to avoid paying the selling fee.  Please do not bid if you don't have enough money!  Thanks

Lightning Electric Superbike Beats All Motorcycles At Pikes Peak

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

On June 30, Lightning Electric Motorcycles made history when its rider, current motorcycle record holder Carlin Dunne, completed the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 10:00.964, beating all other motorcycles — gas or electric, 82 in total — to the 14,000-foot summit. This marks the first time in a major motorsport event an electric motorcycle has beaten its gas counterparts. In fact, Dunne’s time is still within the top 10 when you include the four-wheel competitors as well.

2023 Ducati Scrambler Icon Review – First Ride

Tue, 18 Apr 2023

Reinventing an Icon The Iberian Peninsula has had its struggles through the past some hundreds of years. From folks mastering the silk trade, to those who wanted the money made from it, any region that’s been populated for so long is bound to have a history of its people standing up against encroaching armies wanting to take what’s not theirs. The kind folks who invited me to such a place have a history of perseverance in the face of adversity, too.
