Ducati Monster description
2007 Ducati Monster 695 for sale - $3,000 or OBO 16k miles. Clean title. Used as a daily commuter for the past few years. Very easy to ride. Great beginner bike. Always garaged. The suspension was set up for a 190 lbs rider about 3 years ago (suspension was rebuilt at the same time). Red service key and key card included. The good: It's a ducati Runs great, very fun to ride around town. Fender eliminator kit with integrated turn signal and brake LEDs CRG adjustable brake and clutch levers New front and rear brake pads New chain (sprockets look OK) Repaired faulty solder joints in fuel pump (seems to be a common problem) a year ago. No issues since The bad: It's a ducati Cosmetically in decent shape. The previous owner dropped it in the drive way causing some scratches (see pics) Paint on the clutch master cylinder cover looks like it was removed by some split hydraulic fluid. The tank suffers from the swelling issue that most Monsters suffer from if you live in an area with ethanol in the gas. There are some big cracks in the paint. It does not affect performance so I have simply dealt with the cosmetics. There are aftermarket tanks that will not swell for about $500 online or used for $200 on ebay. I will take this into consideration for the pricing. It also has a nasty tank pad on it too. It looks like the clutch slave cylinder o-rings have stopped doing their job. I will try to fix immediately. The motorcycle is sold as is. No warranty, No guarantees |

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
I'm after a Ducati 848 radiator, and...
Fri, 27 Jan 2012If you're not crashing, you're not trying hard enough. When I crashed at Silverstone, I was trying but clearly my 848 wasn't hard enough. It took a beating..
