Well the auction winner/buyer skipped out on the sale so ... Up for auction again is: A fully cafe'd out 1995 Ducati 900 SS motorcycle. This is a sweet, modern, Italian sport bike that's been give a classic, cafe racer make-over. Whether you're a Rocker or a Mod, you'll really look the business doing The Ton on this cool street bike. The after-market bodywork has been professionally painted and striped. The paint looks kind of black in these pics but in the sun is actually a beautiful midnight blue that must be seen to be believed. Silver racing stripes and number plates are clear-coated. Even the rear fender is pin-striped! Cafe seat and tail section give it a nostalgic, cafe racer look. Only 10K miles! Racing number refers to Britain's "59 Club" for Ton Up Boys and the English birds that rode on the back. A jaw-dropping bike that gets stares, smiles and thumbs up everywhere it goes. People just HAVE to ask you about it while they try not to drool on your (NEW) tires. The oh-so-rumbly carbon pipes sound truly awesome while the stock, dry clutch chatter reminds you that you're riding a Duc. Tidy carbon-look turn signals keep everything street legal. Cool drop-down license plate holder. Exterior of the engine is a little weathered looking from a couple of years in Florida but runs very nice. Only 10 K miles! Only needs mirrors (couldn't decide between stock and bar-ends). If I didn't need the cash I'd never sell it - I'd just sit in my driveway with a beer, smoke a cigar and stare at it's beautiful curves every evening as the sun sets. There are Hundreds of more expensive bikes for sale on eBay that can't hold a candle to this unique and breath-taking, sexy beauty. Plus, it's a Ducati. 'nuff said. Ride it home! Fri, 29 Jun 2012Never in my life have I seen so many Ducatis, but then that's hardly surprising as I took this photo at World Ducati Week 2012, in Misano, last week. Although I knew it was going to be packed from wall-to-wall with the Bologna-made bikes, I never realised there would be so many Panigales there. Of all of the big-cc sportsbikes, I reckon one in five was a Panigale.

Tue, 17 May 2011Leon Morris (Buildbase/JHP Ducati) took both wins at Round Two of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge rounding out a very challenging weekend for all the rider and teams at Assen. The changeable weather conditions made for last-minute tyre decisions and tricky racing conditions as the rain came in heavy bursts throughout the weekend, leaving a number of riders out on track on the wrong tyres. Qualifying on Saturday was typical, as the weather rendered two of the three qualifying sessions damp, leaving only the early afternoon session in which all the riders posted a fast time.

Fri, 25 Oct 2013Looking like something from Mission Impossible II, this 1199 Panigale S has been given the off-road treatment by MotoCorsa, a Ducati dealer based across the pond in Portland.The bike features a Desert Storm paint job, a stock 1199 exhaust and a custom crash guard. MotoCorsa’s General Manager Arun Sharma said that they “dropped the forks as low as we could in the triple and raised the shock’s ride height as much as possible; the idea being to max out the ground clearance.”“There’s all these guys saying ‘that’s so stupid’ or ‘why would you ruin a good bike like that?’ Well, why not just have some fun and be silly?”The bike’s been taken on a 1200 mile adventure and apparently performed faultlessly across all kinds of terrain. MotoCorsa plan to make another video where the bike is taken off-road again, then driven into the garage before being prepared for a track day.
