2000 Ducati 748s converted into 996s. Motor is from a 2001 996s that had 4236 miles. Swap was done by goldcoast motorsports in Jericho,ny. They are an authorized Ducati dealership. I still have the 748s motor in my garage but will NOT Be included in sale. Bike is mint besides needing a new battery. Few scratches here n there nothing serious. Has carbon fiber parts also and tinted headlights and tail lights. Exhaust is also cored. Brand new Michelin pilots with less than 300 miles on them. Comes with single swingarm bike Stand as well. Milan Show: Cute little Ducati
Tue, 02 Nov 2010Amongst the grand new models at the Milan show is this adorable Ducati Cucciolo, or as translated, Ducati Little Puppy. The Little Puppy was born out of a project for a small 48cc pushrod clip-on engine to be added to bicycles. The name Cucciolo is derived from the yapping note from the stubby exhaust.
2014 WSBK – Portimao Results
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
2012 Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition Announced
Tue, 06 Sep 2011The marketing partnership between Ducati and Mercedes’ AMG division continues with a new special edition version of the Diavel. The 2012 Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition is equipped with AMG’s signature 5-spoke wheels, an AMG-style exhaust with engraved end-caps, an Alcantara-upholstered horizontally ribbed seat and carbon fiber radiator grills with aluminum trim. The AMG special edition model will come in the same matte black color as the Ducati Diavel Carbon it is based on, but with AMG’s “Diamond White Bright” stripe and trellis frame.
