Ducati Superbike description

This beauty comes with a Full Akrapovic Exhaust upgrade, Power Commander V, and Eliminator Kit with Integrated Turn Signals.

She does have a salvage title. I'm currently selling the bike to buy a house. Bike works and runs well. I'm still riding her around town, so I've added 10,000 on listings, but odometer shows way below 10,000 miles.

Normally, 899 Salvage title bikes go for under $8000 based on condition and functionality. She's in great shape, I've removed OEM mirrors and added upgrade mirrors. I also recently changed front and back tires. The full exhaust system goes for $5000+. Not to mention, adding it on and programming it with a Power Commander will cost you a few extra $'s . There's a tiny dent from the fall on my exhaust. So, I'm knock $1000 off. It's not scratched or scraped - just a small dent. You can easily repair it if you'd like. It doesn't ruin the performance or "look" of the bike - it's pretty small, you should be able to pop it back out.

I'm opened to offers. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask.

You can arrange a time to see the bike as well  - just send me a message.

I'll be adding a video soon so you can hear how she sounds and get an idea how she takes off. I've test ridden the 959, and I still feel like my bike is faster, louder, and responds better. You will not be disappointed.

All sales are final, no warranties are expressed or implied.

MotoGP Approves “Factory 2″ Rules

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.

Austin Kicks Off MotoGP Weekend!

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

Max points haul for Morris at Assen

Tue, 17 May 2011

Leon Morris (Buildbase/JHP Ducati) took both wins at Round Two of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge rounding out a very challenging weekend for all the rider and teams at Assen. The changeable weather conditions made for last-minute tyre decisions and tricky racing conditions as the rain came in heavy bursts throughout the weekend, leaving a number of riders out on track on the wrong tyres. Qualifying on Saturday was typical, as the weather rendered two of the three qualifying sessions damp, leaving only the early afternoon session in which all the riders posted a fast time.
