2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Audi and Ducati Announce “Come Together” Contest at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Ducati and its new owner Audi announced a new contest ahead of the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The two brands used the rescheduled competition as one of their first collaborative promotional opportunities since Audi acquired Ducati earlier this year. The 90th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb also provided the opportunity to present two models, the 2013 version of the Ducati Multistrada 1200S Pikes Peak Edition and the Audi RS 5.

Bob Collins to ride the 848 at Oulton

Bob Collins will be riding the Ducati 848 Challenge VIP bike at Oulton Park BSB on the weekend of the 6th - 8th July. If you're into motorcycle racing, no doubt you'll have heard of Bob Collins. Former R6 Cup competitor 'Viagra Bob' as he was known, went on to win the Superstock 1000 cup in 2006 and then compete at the Isle of Man TT.
