Hello folks, I am selling my mint 1199 ABS with 1950mi. I am the original owner, the first service and all after market parts installed @ Ferrcci. No stories here, I just don't have time to ride anymore. Note: The rims and rotors are powder coated anodized red with chrome underlay and pearl flake (bonehead performance PA $$) full 520 conversion in gold and black $$, pro bolt kit and bar ends all match, comfort seat - stitching matches as well. MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

2012 FIM Road Racing Homologation List Released – Ducati 1199 Panigale Not Listed

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a list of homologated motorcycles for the 2012 Superbike, Supersport, Superstock and Formula Endurance World Endurance championships. The list includes all the motorcycles that are allowed to compete in each of those world championships. Notable for its absence however is the new 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Ducati unveiled its Desmosedici GP12 race bikes in on online presentation streamed over Facebook. With the machine officially revealed, the pressure now turns to factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden who try to rebound in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship after a difficult 2011 season. The 2012 livery adds a touch of green striping resembling the tricolore version of the Ducati 1199 Panigale S and celebrating the company’s Italian heritage.
